Sarah is a bee ambassador, a teacher, a philosopher and a coach. Since we’ve begun working together, I’ve become host to four hives (and growing!). She’s taught me things I can’t  learn from any books, classes or groups. Her natural beekeeping methods put the bee at the center, with us humans as students of their intelligent designs. Sarah and her bee partnership has changed my life. I am transformed back into an inquisitive child, finding so much pleasure in watching and learning from these amazing creatures. It is a gift for which I will be forever thankful.

Sarah has been my “bee mentor” for the past 4 years, helping me with my hives, harvesting honey, dealing with swarms, and more. Her manner is cool, calm and observant, which creates a more harmonious relationship with the bees when entering the hives. I would call her a “bee whisperer”🐝!

Working with Hive Mind Maui over the last year has been a delight.  Sarah is safe, calm, and controlled with deep knowledge of beekeeping and a style that honors the ancient heritage of the honeybee.  With Sarah's help we started from scratch and now have two thriving colonies producing honey and pollinating our gardens and neighborhood.
